The Osceola School District is hosting its annual "Education in the Park" event to be held on Saturday, May 7, 2011, at Osceola Heritage Park from 2:00 PM until 7:00 PM. This year's event will showcase displays by Osceola public, private, and charter schools. Parents, students, and community residents will also be able to enjoy school and professional entertainment, displays by other youth and educational organizations/agencies in the community, and a variety of free, fun-filled activities. This year's feature group is Kicking Daisies from Radio Disney. Last year, the event drew a crowd of over 20,000 attendees, and we anticipate a much larger crowd this year. "Education in the Park" has evolved into the largest youth-oriented event in Osceola County, featuring over 100 individual tents to visit with free interactive displays for parents and children.
