Training Facilities

Under the direction of Dr. Mel Pace, the Media and Instructional Technology Department, (MITD) began a transition in 2008 to create 21st Century, state-of-the art training facilities.  His visionary leadership continues to bring innovative ideas in the application and integration of technology.  In this digital age, forward thinking is vital to the engagement and achievement of students in Osceola County District Schools. 

MITD training rooms serve as classroom models for district resource specialists, department level facilitators, school based administrators and teachers.  Trainees are introduced to the newest technology tools while learning software applications, both instructional and office productivity.   Professional development opportunities are offered to all district employees in this central location.
