Barbara worked at Charter Federal Savings and Loan in Roanoke, Virginia, for two years and at
First Federal Savings and Loan of Osceola County for 15 years. She retired from the Osceola School District on October 29, 2010, as the bookkeeper at Mill Creek Elementary, a position she held for 22 years.
Barbara and her husband, Jimmy, have three sons who attended Osceola County schools, seven grandchildren, and one great-granddaughter. She enjoys travelling and cooking for family and friends.
Barbara is a member of the First Baptist Church in Kissimmee.
